Her name is Mara
For those of you who have been following the story of Baby Mieria’s Mom and have been expressing your concern through me. I would like to thank you for the very encouraging words and to a lesser extent, for validating my exhibitionist streak.
In any case, I figure that since she will be featuring on my blog quite frequently, it might be more convenient if I gave her a moniker. I have chosen Mara because it means bitterness and more importantly, it was at Mara that God turned something bitter into something sweet.
Things have taken a rather unexpected twist with Mara’s blog. A friend of hers posted a link to her blog on Tomorrow.sg and it has been innundated with comments - not all of them nice. Her blog has become another battle ground between people who care more about their narrow political/religious views than about her.
To all those (eat already got nothing better to do) types - take your quarrels elsewhere. There is enough judgementalism and snappy advise in this world already.
To all those who have shown love and solidarity with her suffering - please continue to be encouraging to Mara.
Meanwhile please continue to pray for the development of Mireia and the well being of the mom. Let your love show
